Cookies

If you press "Allow analytics" on the banner, Google Analytics sets its usual cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) to tell returning visitors from new ones. They are set only after that click, never before. Your choice itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage — a single word, "granted" or "denied", that never leaves your device.

If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics cookie is ever set. The only other cookie this software can set is a login session for the private editing area, which only we use. A visitor never reaches it and never receives it.

The Spotify, YouTube and Vimeo players are deliberately not loaded when a page opens: you see a still image, and the player is fetched only if you press play. That is the moment — and the only moment — at which one of those companies can set a cookie in your browser, under their own terms.

So every cookie on this site follows a choice you made first: a pressed play button, or a pressed "Allow analytics".

The button below forgets your analytics choice and asks again. Withdrawing consent stops future collection immediately; to remove cookies Google already set, delete them in your browser’s settings (they are the ones named _ga). Every browser can also block or delete cookies from Spotify, Google and Vimeo the same way.
