Privacy
This site collects almost nothing about you, and nothing at all without asking first. No account, no form, no newsletter — and analytics only if you allow it. What follows is the whole of it.
What we collect through this site
Nothing personal. There is no sign-up, no contact form and no newsletter. If you want to reach us you send an email, and then we hold that email — your address and whatever you wrote — for as long as it takes to answer you and keep a record of the work.
Analytics — only if you say yes
The first time you visit, a small banner asks whether we may count visits with Google Analytics. Until you press "Allow analytics", the Google script is not loaded, no analytics cookie is set, and Google does not know you are here. If you decline, or simply ignore the banner, that stays true for your whole visit and every visit after.
If you allow it, Google Analytics 4 (a service of Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) collects the usual aggregate signals — pages viewed, rough location from a truncated address, browser and device type — under Google’s own privacy policy. We use it to see which records and pages find an audience, nothing more. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not share or sell what it gathers.
Your choice is stored in your own browser, per site. You can change your mind at any time on the Cookies page.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary web-server logs — the address of the requesting computer, the time, the page asked for, the browser. They exist to keep the site up and to investigate abuse, they are held by the provider on our behalf, and they are not used to identify or profile anyone.
Music and video players
Records and films on this site are shown as a still image with a play button. Nothing is requested from Spotify, YouTube or Vimeo until you press one. If you do, that player loads from the provider, who then sees the request and applies their own privacy policy — Spotify’s, Google’s, or Vimeo’s. Until you press play, none of them know you are here.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data we hold, have it corrected or erased, object to our using it, and withdraw any consent you gave — analytics consent is withdrawn on the Cookies page, in one click.
Questions, or a request to see, correct or erase anything we hold: write to info@danca.tv.
